The collection

Bangles are the most worn, most loved, and most lived-in jewellery a woman owns. Our bangle and kara collection covers the full range, slim everyday bangles you never take off, ornate karas for festive occasions, and the stacked bridal looks that are the signature of a Pakistani shaadi. All pieces are crafted in 21K and 22K gold, with careful attention to the inner finish, because a bangle that is not smooth on the inside is a bangle you will stop wearing.

Whether you wear two slim bangles daily or stack a full wrist for a wedding, these pieces are built for real life, not just the display counter.

Occasions

Bangles are bought for almost every happy occasion. New brides receive bangle sets as part of their shaadi gifts, and many families choose the bangles before anything else. Eid is the classic time to add a new pair to your collection or to gift a daughter her first gold bangles. Mothers buy karas for themselves at Eid and at family weddings.

They are also the go-to gift for births, for a daughter’s graduation, and for a sister’s engagement. A gold kara is a gift that says you thought about it for a long time, even if you chose it in an afternoon.

Styles you will find

Slim everyday bangles. Light, smooth, and comfortable enough for daily wear. Many women buy these in pairs and simply never remove them.

Kara bangles. Wider, bolder, and often with cutwork or textured patterns. The kara is the statement piece of the wrist, worn singly or paired.

Kangan sets. Ornate, often stone-studded or filigree-work bangles worn at weddings and formal events. These are the pieces that draw compliments across a room.

Bridal bangle stacks. Coordinated sets of matching bangles designed to be worn together, in graduated widths and complementary patterns. Chosen as a complete look for the bride.

Cutwork and jali bangles. Delicate pierced patterns that let light through the gold, lighter in weight than they look. A smart choice for festive wear without heavy gold weight.

Men’s karas. Solid, weighty karas in classic designs. See our men’s jewellery collection for these.

What to look for

Inner finish. Run your finger along the inside of any bangle. It should be perfectly smooth. Rough joins or sharp edges will irritate your wrist within days.

Size and fit. A bangle should slide over your knuckles with slight resistance and sit comfortably at the wrist, not tight, not loose enough to fly off. Kara sizes matter even more, since they cannot be resized as easily. Try them on.

Purity choice. 22K is the traditional choice for bangles in Pakistan, giving rich colour and good value. 21K works well for intricate or stone-set designs that need extra strength.

Hollowness. Ask whether a bangle is solid or hollow. Hollow bangles look wide for their weight, which suits budgets, but they dent more easily. We will tell you honestly which is which.

FAQ

How many bangles should a bride wear? There is no rule, only tradition and comfort. Some brides wear a full stack of matching bangles on each wrist, others wear two or four statement karas. Choose what feels like you.

Can bangles be resized? Slim bangles can often be adjusted slightly by a skilled craftsman, but wide karas and stone-set bangles generally cannot be resized safely. This is why trying on for size matters so much.

What is the difference between a bangle and a kara? A kara is typically wider, heavier, and more solid than a bangle, often with a hinged opening or crafted as one rigid piece. Bangles are usually slimmer and worn in groups.

Do you exchange bangles if the size is wrong? Unworn bangles in original condition, with tags and the receipt, can be exchanged within 7 days. The credit is calculated at the gold day rate on the day of exchange. To avoid the trip, please confirm sizing with our bangle size guide before purchase.
